Thank you card plus giveaway!

I have a card to share with you today using a new collection by Kaisercraft - Marigold. This collection is so beautiful!

This is one of my favourite techniques, especially to use up all those scrap pieces of paper!

Start off by grabbing a bunch of scraps of paper, make sure they are of different widths to make them a little different. Using your glue runner, start sticking them to a piece of cardstock. Keep in mind, if you are going to use a die cut to cut it out, that you make it big enough.

Use scissors to trim off the edges.

This is what it will look like when you have finished attaching all your pieces of cardstock. You can leave it like this, or die cut it.

I chose to die cut it with a Spellbinders Labels Die.

I used a Hero Arts Stamp for the sentiment.

I finished up by drawing dashed lines around the edge, using Vintage Photo Distress Ink to distress the edge and applying the ribbon and rhinestones.

Scrapbooker's Paradise has the 3L EZ Runner Duo tape runners on special at the moment. Between February 1st-15th you can pick them up for $10.50 (reg. $12.50). You can never have too much adhesive! If you order online, please quote FIDP in the comments section of your order.

For a chance to win a pack, make sure you pop over to their blog (on todays post) and leave a comment. And also check out the cool card Pam made using tape runners and glitter!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
